These kinds of links just signal spam and will hurt you in the long run. This is because the majority of your backlinks will come from free for all sites which will be of no real use to you.

Placing a link code to your site to increase backlinks can also hurt your search results. When the search bots locate the code with your links this will be a sign that you are creating false link popularity. This will be followed by a penalty.

Try not to use the same anchor text when you pay for links. To many to fast from one anchored keyword phrase can cause you to lose traction on that keyword. You will want a service that allows the use of multiple anchor text that can be switched up a bit to stop the effects of over saturating your keyword text.

So what type of backlinks are safe to buy? Companies that will suggest that you give them more than one keyword phrase and urls and then take on the responsibility of writing articles or submitting to directories for you. Plus, the companies that teach you how to build programs to load up to shareware websites with a link to your site as the author. Another good paid link would be to get your website downloaded to a bunch of video sites with your anchor text links.

Now that you realize the good ones to purchase are the companies that are simply doing the work for you or teaching you the ways of getting strong links. Not just dumping a bunch of useless one way backlinks to your site with no related words or phrases. You want quality and not so much as quantity.
